Tayo is a transformational leader and leadership coach; with practice and consulting experience in Human Resources Management, Talent Performance and Leadership Development; across West Africa market, with collaborations in Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America.
He has provided strategic leadership for the Human Resource function in four organizations. His successful multi-industry career span across Management Consulting, Telecoms, Financial Services, Healthcare, Non-Profit; and Oil & Gas.
Tayo partners with business leaders to institutionalize leadership capabilities for their organizations; and also facilitates training programs, corporate retreats and strategy sessions. He designs and executes strategic leadership interventions for startups, large organizations, government agencies and multinational corporations. In 15 years, he has worked with over 100 organizations across 9 countries.
He hosts The Leadership Roundtable™ (TLR) – an online coaching and mentoring platform that features CEOs who share personal leadership stories and lessons; to mentor growing leaders.
He is also lead mentor at Tayo Opatayo Mentoring Forum (TOMF); an exclusive invite-only mentoring community where he coaches and mentors young adults; for leadership in life, career and business. He is an adjunct faculty at Eudoracity Business School (EBS); and Trustee at STOF (a not-for-profit). He is a volunteer mentor for Fate Foundation. He is the convener of the annual motivational event – Doing The Impossible Conference. He is a member of the HR Directors Network, Nigeria; and volunteers on the administrative team.
He has a degree in Communications & Language Arts from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria; and has taken Executive Education courses in Corporate Performance, Leadership and Strategy; from institutions in Nigeria, UAE, UK, South Africa and USA.

He has developed PERFORM – a coaching framework that helps managers to cultivate potential and improve performance; in the talents and teams that they work with.
